Skyfield Flightworks is a new paramotor school and Aviator Alliance Member in Ridgeland, SC, founded by long-time aviator and Marine Corps veteran, Andrew Solano, and his wife, Christan, in 2018. Skyfield's training site includes a brand new training facility and is located at Ridgeland Airport (3J1). Conveniently located near I-95, Hilton Head Island, and historic Savannah, GA, Ridgeland is surrounded by dramatic landscapes which characterize South Carolina's famous "Lowcountry" region, including marshes, agricultural, and breathtaking intercostal areas.
The exposure to personal flight is both therapeutic and rehabilitative, as it allows the participant to overcome personal challenges in order to experience a type of freedom experienced by very few lucky souls. Resurgence PPG is a 501c3 adaptive sports charity committed to helping military veterans and disabled service members overcome new life challenges through the sport of Powered Paragliding. Resurgence provides personal flight experiences to adaptive capable wounded and disabled veterans through exposure of tandem paramotor training flights and solo training progression.
Fly Michigan Powered Paragliders is a new paramotor school and Aviator Alliance Member in St Johns Michigan, founded by Mike Cotter and Justin Fox in 2018. FlyMiPPG's training site is located at Forest Hill Airport (3F5); the airport itself offers two beautifully manicured 2,000' grass runways, and is surrounded by hundreds of square miles of picturesque Central Michigan landscape. Pastures, crops, meandering rivers, and similarly beautiful terrain set the perfect backdrop for cross-country flights, formation flying, and instructional flights. FlyMiPPG's facilities include three bedrooms which are available for rent during your stay.
ParaCosta is an Aviator Alliance Member paramotor school in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica. Instructors Gugui Munoz and Esteban Villar are committed to ensuring that students have a rewarding adventure-styled training experience, which combines safety and fun as the cornerstones of a unique training opportunity and life-changing vacation. The training course, which utilizes ParAmerica's robust proprietary syllabus and training systems, includes the use of school equipment, round-trip airport transportation from San Jose, all local transportation, and 8 nights in ParaCosta's penthouse facility, with a chef meeting your needs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Special tours can be arranged upon request for a nominal fee.
